Duration 🗓: valid for 30 days, extendable on site if required.
>>> Ceyloners tip : Check that your passport is valid at least 6 months after your arrival date.

Although no vaccinations are required to enter Sri Lanka, certain protective measures are recommended:
Usual vaccinations up to date (DT-Polio, hepatitis A, B, typhoid, rabies).
Mosquito protection: repellent spray, long clothing, mosquito net.

3. Safety in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is a destination generally safe but a few precautions are necessary:
Respect local customs 🛕: proper dress in temples, bare feet, shoulders and legs covered.
Keep your valuables safe and avoid displaying them.
Transport 🚕: use cabs or tuk-tuks recommended by your hotel or reliable transport services like Uber.

The local currency is the Sri Lankan rupee (LKR).

Currency exchange and withdrawals 🏦: You can exchange your euros at banks, exchange offices or directly at the airport. ATMs are widely available in major cities.
Credit cards 💳: Visa and Mastercard are accepted in most hotels, restaurants and tourist stores. But remember to always keep some cash on you for everyday purchases, especially in rural areas.

Buy a local SIM card as soon as you arrive at the airport: Dialog, Mobitel and Airtel are the most reliable.
You'll benefit from a very good 4G network in most of the country.
English 🇺🇸 is widely spoken, so you'll have no trouble getting around, especially in tourist areas.
>>>> For our travelers, Ceyloners offers you free of charge a local SIM card upon arrival at the airport.
6. Respect for the environment
Sri Lanka is an ecological jewel, thank you for taking care of it ❤️
Put your garbage in the garbage cans and avoid single-use plastic.
